@marcluc1988 perhaps, but they certainly would not advertise. However they certainly enjoy the freedom of including "suitable for vegetarians" on their packaging. Eggs and milk are not vegetation and no vegetarian in the animal kingdom suckles on another animals teet. it's all twisted and the "vegetarian" word has been lost to the dairy industry : / check out old dictionaries compared to the new. The problem is that millions of people really believe vegetarian food is a kindness.
yes that is right. i once was blind to this, Years ago i was inspired by McCartney and many other people as they all seemed to say that being vegetarian was kind. That is why many meat eaters dislike veggies because they also assume the same, But "vegetarian" was once a word that described a creature that lived from vegetation and did not need to consume from animals. but now it includes eggs and milk?vegetarian should be a beautiful word but its been distorted. : (

@indiasrainbow I've read the history of The Vegetarian Society and, as far as I'm aware, the dairy and egg industry did not create the Society.

@amazingscottie Yes. George Rodger is vegan. He's the chair on the council of The Vegan Society.

@indiasrainbow Most veggies probably don't realise that eggs and dairy are responsible for the death and suffering of animals. Like a lot of people.

Was the vegetarian society created by the dairy industry? ive read allot about how milk and eggs brings about unnatural suffering.
some people buy "suitable for vegetarian " not realising they cause as much suffering as buying steak or chicken. big question mark > ?

dumb question-- is he a vegan?
