Lyrics:
Within this temple,
The body of some beast,
I feel I remember
This assembly of insides.

A blood pump, clean white bone,
A frightening mess of circuitry.
Stuff in this strange chest
I have within my own.

But how could I recognize
Myself across such distance?
Surely our separate minds
Remain still separate?

I project my world as
"A great expanse of me!"
Never would I want
Or need for such symmetry ...

This new mirror, a threat then:
As I see, it must see.
I won't kneel or bow down
Before another throne!

This temple shall burn.

  • @666slink relapse is one of the most versatile labels out there. they specialize in grind and death metal, but they've put out ambient stuff like zombi and subarachnoid space. they've released cds by punk bands like zeke and broken bones. and now they even have comedy cds released by brian posehn. relapse rules

  • I like this because it's not the usual stuff you guys put out. It kinda makes me think of doom jazz.

  • @redshaftedflicker great live. saw them at a fest and the name threw me off. they opened for pelican and swans (musta been animal night)

  • ITS BLACK MELLOW, NOT BLACK METAL

  • this shit is tight

  • @bhperrin Well, Impale Golden Horn was recorded in 07 I think, and Forbidden Planet was made in 2010. The Gorgon Tongue was distributed through Relapse in 2011, and Invisible Mountain was also made in 2010. So I'm pretty sure but not 100% certain if they're gonna keep this sound, I hope they do too!

  • @ReadSchopenhauer Indeed they have a diverse lineup of bands and they refuse to give into trends. It is sad how labels like Centruy Media and Victory are nothing more than signing what is the flavor of the month.

  • Love this shit.

  • I love the Juxtaposition of Fuzzed out bass and Clean Geetars!!!

  • @grindcoremaniac fuck yes! Relapse is arguably the greatest label on the planet right now

  • So bleak. So awesome.
