This was a parody of the movie "Sons & Lovers" starring Dean Stockwell as the son--it was made in 1960. They used to show it when I was a kid on the classic movie channel. I had the biggest crush on Stockwell, so when I first saw this sketch on PBS at around the same time, I thought it was a hoot! And it's still a riot!
