Thank you so much for this information, part of my work requires I do research on Classical Music for my program, and your posting was just wonderful. Shostakovich is one of my favorite composers. @jackdog1able Thanks for your kind remarks - I'm glad the info was a help. He's my favourite composer - greatest of the 20th century (including Mahler) in my humble op - but as you've already noticed I have a very eclectic taste - possibly TOO varied!!

@MrSwifts31 You'd think with the current technological advances sites like Google, Facebook or YouTube would work better than they do. AND they're always changing things around which can be very confusing!!

@MrSwifts31 Thanks for your comment - have a better video-making program now, so there could have been some improvements! Thanks also for the link - a very nice pic of the great man when young which I hadn't seen before. For me he was the greatest 20th Century composer - bar none (including Mahler!).
