State Of Emergency For New Energy and New Jobs

Our unemployment, economic, and imminent energy crises mandate an immediate Presidential declaration for nationwide conversion to solar, wind, geothermal and hydro-electric energy.

What does it take to mobilize America and unite its manufacturing sector to work towards a single goal? In the past, a world war and the very real possibility of life-and-death brought us together. Our current economic/energy situation is equally monumental. It is the equivalent to WWIII, and we need to mobilize to win it.

There is no shortage of energy. The sun's rays, the earth's heat, flowing water and blowing wind give us an inexhaustible source of energy. Instead of wasting time and resources, we must utilize what has been given to us for free and work towards a common goal.

@Clear3490 I agree. It's sad to see countries going to war over things such as oil. It's important Division and Diversity are two different things. Division is what we have now, constant war and hate among peoples; Division is the opposite of unity. Diversity is being from different backgrounds, but this does not mean diverse peoples can't work together. Unity and diversity together can be a great force for good. People should stop using diversity as an excuse for division.

@TheKnightwing1197 Our world struggle because we haven't put these energy sources to good use. if nations united as one there is ample land to farm upon. I believe it is capable of supporting at least 30 billion. It begins with creation and management of infinite resources, ie: wind, sun, hydro, and such.

@TheKnightwing1197 All of our problems as a society, start with one basic problem: Division. Since we cannot share our ideas with one another because we are seperated by barriers and walls of deception we cannot solve the rest of our problems. Until the truth is understood these problems will remain and the course of Earth's history predicts that this many people cannot be sustained for that much time without there being a global collapse. We'll be just like the dinosaurs.

This is no debate. There is no arguing defense against the obvious insurmountable evidence that we must be one with our planet and each other to achieve balance and happiness. What will it take for us to awake and devote our hearts to serving? More violence, more death, more war? Haven't we had enough already. Our planet cannot tolerate much more ignorance on our behalf. Be the change in every waking moment.
