@MolonLabe84 During World War II Civil air patrol was credited with the destruction of two German U-boats and also credited with engaging 57 U-boats. More than 90 aircraft were lost, and between 59 and 64 CAP pilots were killed in defense of our coast.

This looks really cool! I joined the CAP about 5 months ago and got an email about this course...I see a comment below about not allowing women. I'm female and would LOVE to take this! Are they allowing females? The email didn't ay anything about not allowing females to take this. Oh, and I can do 45 pushups in a minute no problem so physical fitness isn't a concern for me (I'm trying to become an Air Force officer and have been training myself).

Watch out for these guys.

Let's cut the stupid comments. This course is an ORIENTATION to an Air Force career field. While CAP has no combat role, and CCT does not allow women in at this time, it does not mean that our members cannot gain insight into lesser seen aspect of the world's finest Air Force. This course builds character, teamwork, promotes physical fitness, and shows what Combat Control is really all about.
