Squall Dodge Cancel madness - FF Dissidia english

This is what happens when you put together the new imba squall and some well timed dodge cancels.

It isn't an infinite combo against all characters, but it's unstoppable against cloud 9/9 AI (as shown) and has definitly some potential to study.

You can change your discription as it works against all 9/9. Found it a few hours ago and went through lunar whale course. This is the way to victory there:P .

Not really, it's one of those links I call a "wake up" move. It hits enemies on wake up, which always leaves a small window for dodge. The AI has a certain reaction time though so it doesn't always work.

There is no problem with doing it to a human player, because even though it can be perfectly avoided, they will not be able to retaliate in time, so it is more or less risk free.

You sound like those inquisitors that burned witches just because they had the initiative to investigate and try to bring new remedies.

Obviously, infinite combos are lame and are not to be used in Ad Hoc, but they're interesting to study nonetheless, because they end up evolving in normal combos, as in linking DIFFERENT dodge-cancelled attacks.

Your negative view on this shows you haven't been on dissidia for long. Characters evolve that way.

Lame, any intelligent, skilled human player can and most likely will repel and punish this spam. Good for the CPU I guess.

Yeah, well, this is just the first step to a PVP valid strategy. I started with Garland that way, testing combos that worked against the CPU, over and over.

Then you stumble upon one that always works, and the character climbs a couple places in the tier list. I'd be happy to do that with squall =)

Infinites are lame for any character. It's just a cop-out for players who can't use their character and have to trap the opponent in an endless combo to win. It's unsporting and ruins the gameplay to pull this crap. Sure it's fun against the AI, but in PvP matches it's just boring.

not really, not if they know squalls moves. try someone who uses jecht. in this video, its only cloud, everyone knows that he staggers alot, so of course, spam heel crush is easy.

That combo works against almost everyone, better that you use heel crush to guard break then beat fang from behind for sneak attack to proc and do more damage. Thats what i do as squall, because once your in , you cant get out, unless your zidane with is fast counters againest squall.

This combo needs no dodge cancel. Tried it. Heel Crush -> Beat Fang randomized does well even without the DC. Mainly because Squall has a significantly reduced recovery time for all his Brave Attacks thanks to being a "Relentless Revolver"

You can also cancel out of a dash(Particually Omni) very fast with squall, such prowess i have not found with any other characters.
