If you listen to Amon Amarth over the years, early on it almost sounds like he's forcefully singing or yelling rather than grunting, while on the later stuff it switches to more "growl"-y (Surtur Rising is straight gurgle). I think he began doing the melodic lows and highs when it was closer to actual singing, and altered his style progressively over years and years so that now he can do a straight, low grunt or a nice high screech.

well, but there are some CD's that even Ed has at home...one Occeano-album and one of despised icon (ills of a modern man, i believe)....so he does not dislike EVERYTHING about deathcore.....

So I heard, well you're never to old to learn so I guess I was wrong on that point.
And if not, well at least I got a beard so I don't really need to know anymore how to grow one..:-P
