  • it was actually slightly sharp...

  • This video is horrible. I'm sorry.. you don't vibrato in scales.. scales are meant to depict individual notes and tones and vibrato is exactly the opposite..a fluctuation between half steps.. BAD! .. and that violin really does look huge haha. This didn't teach anything about the scale either.. yikes

  • Oh, thank god. I thought he didn't know how to use vibrato, until that last note. He sure proved himself to be a true professional with that lovely last note.

  • im sorry but ur trying to hard have a little fun with it give us ur own tips and blogdemikey i agree with u do not add vibrato that is for music not scales nore on the line of symphonic music

  • thanx for that. now my violin playing is much improved.

  • Practicing musicians / learners, if you could fill out my easy 4 question survey for my research project it would be much appreciated. The link is in the info of my video called practicing musicians thanks.

  • i play violin.... he's not in tune, and you're not supposed to vibrate- unless you're sure of the pitch and when you're not teaching people, for sure.

who knows, maybe he knows what he's doing. but i don't understand how this can help. does this solve anyones issues with the b flat scale?

  • its a WHOLE STEP~~~~~

  • it was just a your first lesson but you must repeat it with your teacher...

  • From my opinion, you need live lessons to learn the violin. Might look simple, but really is a complex instrument which needs lots of regular practice supervision and discipline. Forget about how-to videos... serious teachers would not get into this. Like as you can hopefully see here, the guy can't even play in tune the first pass, and then relies on tremollo to hide his lack of precision...
