Survey Nation, as you know, has no political agenda. Our goal is to give your opinion a voice. So we were surprised to discover that outside of the 24 hour cable news cycle real people seem to have rather moderate and open opinions towards recent Republican Vice Presidential pick, Sarah Palin. News organizations paint Palin as a polarizing figure, hated by Liberals and embraced by Conservatives, but our interviewees were not so absolute. Regardless of political leanings, we found a general openness to Palin that was quite refreshing.
Palin's step into the political spotlight brought about the expected media blitz. Newspapers across the country are delving into every aspect of her political and private life. Obviously, a certain degree of media intrusion is to be expected, but have they gone too far this time?
Let us know what you think.
