Not bad but I think that your feet are slightly wide for the purpose of the FMS, you break at the knees a little early and your head is poking forward too much(or shoulder is back too far) ears should be hidden. None the less good video and good to see some people getting this stuff out there. elfranko.

Great advice mtbstrengthcoach. We become weaker at those movements we avoid. Look at all this "specialized training" employed in the 1980's and 90's and how many more injuries occurred as a result. Not to knock Nautilus fitness, but the invent of weight machines didn't allow the body to move naturally-only in selected movement planes.

You locked your knees.

Not locking out and not squatting past parallel is the most stupid thing (unless done for other reasons than safety).
But I don't understand why you initiate the movement with pushing the knees forward. When I squat (any type), I always tend to sit back, and it is just how it happens naturally. Is there a reason why I should intentionally try to push the knees beyond the toes?

With this exercise I try to keep my torso more upright than with a normal squat, so the knees tend to go a little more forward. As a rule, though, I do recommend initiating a squat by pushin the hips back and sitting back into the squat rather than sinking straight down into it.

So? I do not recall saying not to in my description. I do not buy into that recomendation. If you do not lock your knees and place stress on them then they will never get stronger. Powerlifters and Olympic lifters lock their knees and they are the strongest people on the planet. Count how times each day you lock your knees throughout the day. That is just like the "don't squat past parallel" or "don't let your knees travel past your toes" crap.
