  • Where in the bible did King Solomon say those words and the story about after the war? some it does sound very familiar from Ecclesiastes 4?

  • Somewhere in there yes.

  • You have hit on the real 'PURPOSE' (or point) of existence.

It is to make intelligent life (us) through experiencing both pleasure and PAIN, 'MORE INTELLIGENT'.

People say, "If there is a GOD, why does he allow such suffering"?

It is to make us (who are NOT so intelligent LIFE at the moment) EVENT-ually 'REALISE', THAT 'PAIN HURTS'.

We will then STOP doing the things that CAUSE US PAIN.

Unless we experienced the UN-TRUTH/FALSE, we could NEVER get to a point of REALISING the TRUTH.

  • well put

  • And the winner is! Beautiful and inspiring video my friend. Keep up the most excellent work.

  • thanks!

  • I loved this. Thank you for sharing.

  • ah the Book of Ecclesiastes

  • Very interesting my friend. I never did see it from this perspective. Very good!

  • good vid

  • I don't see the exact tie in to wisdom equals silver and spirituality, but the story was good.

  • The cause of suffering is desire, the opposite of desiring is contentment "be content with such things as you have", to be content is to be happy, as soon as desire arises suffering begins, like a little kid that screams for a chocolate bar, we do the same, but quietly inside for other things, we suffer for the things we want but don't have, we suffer to try to get them, we suffer to keep them and then suffer when we lose them, if not during life then at death, including our bodies.

  • Great video! Love the music!
