Early sunrise 6:00 AM at Paulinas, El Convento. Extreme surf fishing with ligth tackle, spinning with artificial lures.

Both tarpoons were caught spinning with artificial lures, yozuri white and red, 12 pds test and 10 pds test lines with 40 pds test fluro leaders. The first one was sightcast after i saw the fish near surf hiting a ball of bait fish. The second one was worked for 1 hour & 45 minutes to be lost to a bull shark right in front of our eyes.

Los dos sabalos fueron de spinning con yozuris rojo y blanco, hilo 12 pd test, 40 pd test mono leader. El primero fue 'sightcasting', y el segundo se peleo por 1 hora y 45 minutos pero se lo llevo un bull shark como a 100 yardas de la orilla y por eso no tenemos el video con el release.
