Tre Cime - I saw photos of these years and years ago, in the 1970s. I knew I had to go there. I finally visited in September, 2009, just 5 weeks after this was shot. The trip was actually an accident that I was so close, so I HAD to drive over and see these! Finally! The Dolomites are the most dramatic mountains! And they are so accessible, too. If I had lived there as a young man, I'd have certainly been a mountain climber. I love the mountains.
