@MuDvAyNw LinkinParkKanenite is wrong. Whilst the tone of this song is definitely soft its a "My December" sort of softness, there new stuff is just them trying to copy Rise Against.
The reason why they claim they arent doing metal anymore is because Chad Bennington was told by his doctor he would lose his voice if he kept singing as a metal vocalist.

@LinkinParkKanenite nah, they just had a perfect blend of rap and heavy rock in their music in their earlier days. i understand that bands have to change and evolve over time. granted i do like some of their newer stuff, but some of it just a little too indie or something.
