An entire dolphins herd swims along then suddenly begins a stampede near our boat, porposing in an amazing rare display of their speed and agility shot April 16th off Dana Point California.

They are the most beautiful creature I have ever seen. I love dolphins, someday i would like to swim win one. For now, i will just have to admire my beautiful tattoo. :D

Have you ever seen a boat hit a dolphin or heard of such an occurence?
ANSWER ME!!!
You cannot hit these animals. Something stirred them up and they were merely reacting.
We as land dwellers were fortunate enough to view this spectacle.
So please keep your ignorance to yourselves and stop displaying as a badge of honor over the the internet. We know you are stupid.

@Thevinylhouse. We have been in these situations with the dolphins on an almost daily basis...and have never come close to colliding with them or, heaven forbid, injuring them. They LOVE to come to the boat and ride the bow and we couldn't keep them away even if we tried.

That may be true for inshore bottlenose dolphin, but for Common Dolphin, their average pod size is about 300 to 500. We seem them in pods as big as 10,000. If you go to our website and look at our sighitngs log, you'll see what I mean. Each species has their own pod characteristics. :)
