@grwxjr Aww that's a sad end to a fabulous bike. What did you replace it with?

Sorry to say this XJR met her end in August '07, at the hands of a landrover pulling out of a driveway (not long after a 3,500 mile trip to Italy and back). I did 24,000 miles on her, and there was over 30k on the clock when she was totalled. Dunno about the sump comment, but I did hundreds of wheelies and the motor was perfect at 30K, running better than ever. Hey - I haven't got silver hair either (well, a few round the back maybe!).

I wouldn't recommend extreme wheelies on the xjr because it doesn't have a deep oil sump.

I remember this guy at the '04 'bash, he got a standing ovation from the crowd the first time he wheelied the full quarter! And if i remember rightly he was a softly-spoken gent with silver hair, the last person you'd expect it of!
