Witnessing an engine startup in person is an incredible experience. As u witness the whole frequency in sound, u also feel it, from the deep chest shaking bass at startup to the ear piercing scream of the turbine coming up to speed.

How come the plane doesn't take off with engines at power?

i was sat in a erj 135 at teh back as the frequency changes you can detect the humens whole range of hearing quite amazing till you realize you are stuck at a certain pitch till the piolet spools up a buit to taxi and you have to cope with ear spliting screeach for 10 mins of taxi lol
