The way I view religion is that is a thing that makes people happy in life. I tell you know, I am a Christian, but I'm kind of struggling on my path to Christ. But, I always wonder about the people who don't like religion and a see they are usually more depressed than people who do have a religion. Also, I see people who shun religions are a lot like racist people, because there isn't much of a difference between hating people because of their beliefs and their race, or even sexuality.

my religious leader is my conscious. i dont really believe there is one big thing out there that created everything, it just doesnt seem logical to me. I also get extremely irritated when people shove religions down my throat. In some ways people may call me atheist, but i dont feel like i have a set religion, because honestly anything can be possible. i also dont feel that it is right to discriminate against people because of their religion, its just as bad as racism.

I am a Christian myself. I believe there's only 1 right religion and that is Christianity. However, I don't believe that we should shove our faith down people's throats. People have the freedom to have whatever they want. Also, I think people who look down on people with religions are just as bad as people who look down at people because of who they are. I especially hate those who stereotype religions. They are equivalent to people who stereotype my race.

@GamerGoblin1131 Atheism is a religion technically. The Webster definition states that religion is "personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices." The Webster Dictionary says that Atheism is " a disbelief in the existence of deity." It isn't "not believing on any religion."(You even said the word "believing" which would consider it a religion. It is more of "Atheism is believing there is no deity."

@ilikecuppcakes I'm sorry for your experience with churches. I hope you actually come to see some genuine churches out there that aren't hypocritical.

You mentioned how the whole "god" thing is far stretched. Can I ask what? I'd be glad to try to answer your questions!

I'm an atheist because i see churches as money holes and the people (most) are rude to other religions, plus religions causes war and arguments also the hole ''god'' things seems a little far fetched

Everyone, I'm not athiest, I am a christian and have been raised as such but here is what religion is. religion is faith, there you have it. It gives people a reason to wake up in the morning, to deal with problems, and to have a mindset of,"everything will get better." It is also used to explain life after death, and the other things humans will never know. I believe that if anything can give someone faith and make them forgive themselves for things, then its realer then everything else.

Many churches are like that, but mine is not. My pastor has a full-time job as well as being a minister, and all earning from the church are donated back into the church. I agree that many many churches are bad, but you must find a good one to become a part of.
