To me this song is about the differences between peaceful loving individuals and power hungry individuals. As the video shows the one friend is content with the life he has regardless of money or power. He has fun loving, happy people around him and he's happy with that. "I can keep rhythm with no metronome" Something that doesn't have a lot of power but he's content with. On the other hand you have the power hungry individual, who gets a taste and craves more power.
