post- op week three update. Ive lost 0.4 lbs from last week. I'll take it. I've vomited the first time this week no fun. eating puree food

  • They were the bariatric advantage calcium citrate. I tried watermelon, mixed berry, and lemon and they were all really good..........................­..... untill the after taste kicked in. I explained it to her the exact same way. I told I liked all three of them, untill the end--------they had this weird "vitaminy" taste to them. lol I couldn't find a better way to explain either!

  • I got some from the clinic Cherry flavor they are OK, if you really suck on them they make your mouth raw. so you have to let them slowly dissolve. BUt they don't have the vitamin taste, more chalky

  • Me too, me too...... I hate the after vitaminy (lol) taste of the flinstones vitamins! I have been taking some off my sons just to find something I like before surgery. The dietician at work also asked if I would taste test some and give her my opinion.

  • I think i'm gonna still take the gummy vit and just buy a separate iron for now

  • ditto april! walk, drink, and protein first

    those are key and becomes our mantra! lol

  • your son is too cute! yes, yes, yes...if there is a stall, just keep on keepin' on and doing the right things. Things will pick up. Walk! Drink! Protein! oh wait. 30 - 40 ounces of fluid is Not enough, no! Keep trying to get more in. That is sooo important. so sorry about the vomitting. Glad u are feelin better. oh lol I love Flinstones! makes me feel like i'm having sweettart candies! isn't it funny how hard it is to remember to slow down when we eat? so weird, huh!?
