I had purchased an all metal with glass optics large peep hole for my Mother, and this peep hole is like no other. No batteries needed, and you can see someone at the door at 13 feet away, and recognize WHO is at the door from 3 - 4 feet away. From the box cover, this is a Russian made KGB door scope, far better than the small peep hole that you have to go all the way up to the door and squint through a tiny opening to see who is on the other side of the door. With this scope, wheel chair bound people, the elderly with walkers, and even little children can see who is at the door from ANY height and can recognize people from 3 - 4 feet away from the door.
I bought this many years ago from Sovietski, which later became Mitch & Company. He is no longer in business. These scopes are available on-line or your local hardware store. If all else fails you, eBay!
that is awesome, i know a load of people who would love one of these... it would make an ideal xmas present for them :D yay
