Just wanted to point out this is a framework, not just Facebook. Noticed today that my Pandora update allows Pandora to be used through the BMW apps interface as well. This has the potential to be extremely useful for things that are actually car related. Satnav, datalogging, etc... good on ya BMW.

I don't think some of these guys get it. If you make it easier to use apps through the car i.e voice activation or whatever it will encourage users to stop using their phones whilst driving making it safer.

These people are most likely NOT from the generation Y group and stuck in there old traditional ways :-) and don't get the new way of socialising. I think that's why the 1 series model has been targeted other than the other models where by an older generation would buy into.
