they gave me triazelam at the last dentist appointment. that was a great drug! i need to definitely go get my teeth revamped because i'm getting to the point that i can't eat much anymore. my last strong molar is now getting a cavity so it hurts to chew all over.

You probably had been given a benzodiazepine - anything that ends in -lam or -pam......like Versed (miazoLAM), Xanax (alprazoLAM) Valium (diazePAM)....these are all in the same class of drugs. Unfortunately, when some people have adverse reactions to benzodiazepines or are allergic to them, suddenly the doctors don't know what they could do to sedate you without risking your life. There needs to be more options for sedation than just benzodiazepines.
