Medanta-The Medicity Kills 27yr old Boy
Medanta The Medicity (Gurgaon) turns a 27yrs young boy into a Dead Body in 01 hr. On 17th Dec about 2.45 am this young boy came to hospital walking into the emergency with severe heart pain, Dr Irfan and Dr Pankaj Gupta started treating him for some "endo" just because this boy vomited, the moment he laid down on the hospital bed, inspite of Boy's relatives repeatedly requesting Doctors to work on his heart pain, relatives even shared with Doctors that his family has a history of Heart Problems / Heart Attack.
But they got the usual reply "Doctor aap hai ya hum (are you the doctor or us)", astonishing part was that Dr Irfan was taking instructions from some Sr. Doctor over his mobile phone.
Ultimately when they did ECG after 48 mins, Doctors panicked to c the report, as it was Heart Attack but then it was toooooo late, this young boy was NO MORE.....If Doctors would have been proactive and sensible enough, life of this young cheerful guy would have been saved. We all know how critical is even a single second in case of cardiac arrest / heart attack. Shocking part is that once the Medanta hospital staff realized they have lost the Boy, they asked the relatives to deposit 10k for Boy's admission in Hospital, so that they could recover their hospital expenses. All the attempts to reach out Dr. Trehan had failed, even after leaving multiple messages with Jugal Sharma (PA to Him)... How do I know all this.....this happened with me, my first cousin Varun Sharma was killed by Dr IRFAN & Dr. Pankaj Gupta on 17th Dec 2011...An FIR has also been lodged .......................he and myself would be humbled if you share this post....rgds Varun's Family

Really sad! Even I was disillusioned by this hospital couple of months back when I was hospitalized there for few hours! Seems they keen to serve only the likes of Anna!!!!

appalled by the negligence and unprofessional-ism shown by these so called specialty hospitals, heard a similar story from fortis noida also, and both subjects were really young with a lot to look forward in their lives .......wonder where to take a patient in case of an emergency if this is how expensive hospitals treat a case detected on time
