I hear this music and in my mind's eye start seeing rugby tackles, horses jumping fences, golfers holing putts. Amazing how evocative a TV theme can be.

Grandstand, The Pink Panther Show, Basil Brush and Dr Who - Saturday afternoon / early evening in the 70s, and it was great!

i am from germany and i love that theme. so bad, that they dont use it anymore. i am glad, that they still have the original sport/tv themes here. anyway, great music doesnt need lyrics. ;-)
