Aileen Wuornos Funeral Song - Carnival by Natalie Merchant

Aileen Wuornos was executed on October 9th 2002, she requested that this song 'Carnival' by Natalie Merchant be played at her funeral.

The song was later used on the soundtrack to a documentary on the life of Aileen Wuornos, Natalie Merchant gave permission for the track to be used after she heard Aileen spent many hours listening to her album "Tigerlily" whilst on death row.

@zyzzyva57 Yes, she was a serial killer. And a tortured soul, nobody didn´t even give a little shit during all the years she got badly abused and kicked when she was crawling on her knees already. From where and how she should have learned any better? Destroyed by an ignorant society, who looked away her entire lifetime. Only when she got executed everyone was suddenly paying attention and all came outta their holes to profit from her story and her death.

I just watched a docu on Netflix about her...What an awful mess...How sad so many wanted literally to profit off her final days...It will always amaze me how people can live high and mighty doing that to anything living, yet priss around, bragging how religious they are...This, for me, isn't how I feel about the death venality, but how I feel doing it for money or any other personal gain--MY GAWD!!!

But she is still a human being that had obvious issues yet no one tried to help her. i dont nor will i ever believe in the death penalty even if it were have happened to me which it has yet Vengence is the Lords and as i have seen many times b4 when i let it go & leave it to him...oh his vengence is much sweeter.
