it has open front, locker center.. and lsd rear. drives very well. had a fwd nissan. lsd front end.
drove amazingly.

@JackDanielsCHS08 hey i know its a way late reply but if your lookin for something that is safe in the snow that will get you around and will grip go for the one with out the turbo but if you want to get that extra power and get a lil squirly get a turbo. but if your not ready and the turbo kicks in while your accelerating in the snow it could slip and loose alot of traction which could be bad haha

I am most likely getting a forester. Does the standard do the job if you need to get out of a tough spot? Cuz the car i currently own isnt meant for the weather. For example if it snows a good deal will the standard subaru do the job or is the turbo the way to go?

Yes they have a LSD in the dear, i have a 2003xt myself. Dont remember saying that... Either way no need to be so harsh over the internet.

What I don't like is that newer Subarus are getting bigger fancier and thus heavyer leading to a loss of their primar weight advantage offroad compared to other cars in the segment.
