Nice to see you say you don't know everything about music, and I'm dangerously close to agreeing with the rest...
-
@MarkRevival Yep, 100% Canadian here. I don't know everything about music but I'm good at harmonic analysis and theory. I don't listen to the Beatles, but I think they were better songwriters than a lot of bands today, using secondary dominants etc. I think Muse writes good music or bands like Sonic Youth that use more dissonance. Most music on the Radio like Nickleback is kind of like Nirvana without the passion or melancholy, to me anyway.

Look up the posts 'comment removed by author'. And you're Canadian? Bless you, I'm sorry.
We're discussing music, on youtube, so erm... yes it is evidential regarding your musical and intellectual personality. Have you eschewed all other subjects just to pontificate on music?
I don't disagree about your Nirvana point.

@MarkRevival What are you talking about? Removed what? How can I be American if I live in Ontario? That's a puzzle. lol Youtube history is evidence of someone's personality. Ya, you'll see that at the next court trail. "This man watched a violent video on Youtube, he's obviously a murderer." What I like about Nirvana is that it's raw and simple music. It doesn't try to be overly complicated or self indulgent. Simple music can become very boring when you take away the raw emotion.

Hmm, I'm a 15 year old homosexual, you found me out damn it! That lightning intellect of yours was just too much for me! How are the videos in your history relevant in a music discussion? It's evidence of your musical and intellectual personality... it was an easy question though, but I appreciate you calling me a smart guy. Thanks. I've made plenty of points, you just cant understand them, you could never be fallible could you? Fortunately by and large the readers do.
And what did you remove?

You're like a bad penny aren't you...
Angst is not angry, I forgot your degree was only in music. First to 'discover' angst? Everyone from Mahler to one man and his dog, but for you as an American, there are plenty of examples in music around the Vietnam War. I'm pretty certain as an example that was before Nirvana.
-
@MarkRevival I'm sure you were. It seems to me like you were trolling this video and bashing Nirvana. Nirvana wasn't a very technical band but they had a lot of passion. I don't even find their music that angry, I find it more melancholy. Who's the first band to discover angst then?
-
@MarkRevival I guess that's where we differ, I like women. Big deal if I made a spelling mistake, you still don't know jack about music. It's hard for me to believe you're anywhere older than 16 years old considering how immature you are. How are the videos in my history even relevant to a music discussion? Answer that smart guy. You're not making any points, you just twist what I say into Ad Hominem attacks. You have absolutely no valid musical commentary.
no one knows what it's about. stop speaking like you knew him personally.
