A 7 mile roundtrip hike up Dog Mountain near Bingen, Washington. The hike involves 2,800' of elevation gain and is best done in mid Spring to early Summer
It's what I call a great "bang for your hike." It's a steep arduous kind of boring climb for two miles and then you break out into the wildflowers... very cool!
