@Eyeofsauron2006 Can't say I really see the connection between McCarthy's novel and this song, that having been said inspiration doen't necessarily mean they have to be similar. It makes sense anyway that such a great song was inspired by an equally great novel.

@2leighthurlow Tim Booth got the inspiration to write the lyrics for this song from reading a book called "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy. It's a good book, worth reading.

Aah the wonderful sound of James, listening to this band would be likened to someone pouring sweet honey into my ears. Not sure what makes their sound so great to connect with, but whether its the lyrics or the music, either way James.... I'M IN AWE OF YOU!!!!!!

thanks for that i will check the book out, kind regards, they really have wrote some fine lyrics over the years and in my view the newer stuff is a lot deeper in thought.
