Lathe setup is much easier than milling machine setup. You dont have to worry about holding the part which is the hardest most time consuming part of the setup on a cnc mill. Whether its cutting the jaws for the part or putting in different clamps ad blocks to allow access of all the tools. You have anextra axis atleast one to deal with and the loading and unloading cant be done without the process finishing and opening the jaws to take the patt out or move it to the nest process.
