subaru announce retirement from WRC

Japanese car manufacturer Subaru made an official announcement on Tuesday that the company will withdrawal from World Rally Championship.

I love the new WRX STI no matter what poeple say. I hate the day they announce this withdraw from WRC. I heard they'll be back 2010. I hate to see WRC without Subaru. It's like the end of the world to me.

geeze! no wonder you are pissed with my comment, but thats just my opinion. I think you find that the Agressive over the top looks of the older Impreza was unique maybe they are aiming more for the American market with its conservative looks and sound, some of the older models where not even on the market in the USA becuase they thought nobody wanted would buy one, but here in Europe almost all the Impreza enthusiasts hate the 08 impreza's femmanine looks

First of all to comment on the looks of a wrx is stupid, peopele don't buy them for what they look like, they buy themm for thier mechanical abilities. They chose this design for rally racing, if you notice every other car other than the EVO is a hatch, its better for its less overhang and the rollcage inside is improved. I will however conceed the point that the 08 sucked a lil mechanically but the 09's are tits, so that point in now mute as well. Oh and I have an 08 WRX.

Well the New shape Impreza was shit anyway and its not selling, this is the result of them turning their backs on the specialist young man performance genre with the aggressive manly holligan looks, it was always what the Impreza was all about, THE DESIGNERS OF THIS IMPREZA OFFICIALLY KILLED IT!! it was never going to sell as a run about for the kids, especially not with its shit new looks!
