are you supposed to be pushing off your thigh with the opposite arm? i'm not a form loser like you commonly see online but im sure i could snatch alot more than i normally would if i pushed off my thigh like that.

lol jackasses does snatches in front of a barbell on the floor, olympic movements require balance so if u lose it in front of something on the floor, u trip on it

nothing fake here. rubber-coated dumbbells. I have seen guys with more muscle mass struggle with 100lbs and the kid makes it overhead smooth and easy...just amazing the explosive strength exhibited.

What you need to do is work on proper form, you're jumping backwards whenever you're performing the snatch. It's never good to have sloppy form because it will only hinder your training. If you can do this, you'll start seeing even greater explosive power that you didn't have before.
