Hey all, Chris Carlos is holding an international spinning festival in January on the 15th - 17th in Melbourne, Australia. This festival boasts an awesome line-up of teachers and a not so awesome teacher (you know who I'm talking about, *caugh* Nathaniel *caugh*). Oh, and apologies for the video quality, Chris didn't have much to work with on this and he felt it more important to get the promo out sooner rather than later. A video with higher video quality will be released soon enough.

how the hell does that thing at 5:20 even work? ive watched that 20times in a row and I just aint able to see what is happening, 4/5 of the move is clear and then.. magic. i dont get it^^^^

I figured it out and it is pretty nifty. The split time equivalent is also pretty cool too. But the vertical same and split time cateye butterfly is pretty unusual as well.

Yeah, the staffing in this video is seriously amazing. And yeah, that horizontal dual cateye is also very impressive, Petey blows my mind when it comes to technical poi. I've got a video of him and I spinning at a market in the works, it should be up shortly.

Yeah, you probably don't see it that often because it burns and it hurts. Even with Kevlar sleeves on you still get burnt more often than not. But it does look awesome.
