This longboarding tutorial is brought to you by motionboardshop.com.

There are so many longboard products on the market these days that the buying process can be overwhelming. We wanted to make a video to help guide you so you can be sure to buy the set of wheels that is right for you and the way you'll be using them. There are a variety of durometers, widths, sizes, eurythanes and configurations when it comes to wheels and we've tried to break it down into simple terms.

There are riders who may disagree with what we say but we're just trying to provide you with a general guideline based on how the manufacturers intended the wheels to be used. Obviously though, there are guys who will bomb hills with slide wheels and do just fine.

We have many more videos on the way to give you the basics on trucks, bearings, bushings, decks and other accessories. If you have more specific questions, don't hesitate to call and talk to an expert today.

  • @MotionBoardshop which would be better for sliding... nersh candies or otang stims???

  • @ianllamas100

Both are radical, but stay away from 83a stims from sliding.

  • @MotionBoardshop thx... but for sliding are the 80a stims as good as 80a candies? sry :P

  • @ianllamas100

Yes. Both are great options for sliding.
