they just want the best for the animal. they dont want them to go through this again. they do home inspections NOT to make sure ur house is clean, but to make sure you can provide the animal with what it needs. i would know this. i volunteer. so u think theyre trying to "control ur life" well theyre not. they just want the best for the animal. how did u not realize that?

Let's just get this out of the way to begin with: You are an idiot. Because the humane societies are looking out for the animals, they're jerks? You're absolutely insane, and every single aspect of your argument is not only straight out wrong, but ignorant. It's not about telling you how to run YOUR life, it's about the ANIMAL, you ignorant ponce. I just adopted a dog from the HHS and had an amazing experience, every member of staff cares more about those animals than you could ever imagine.

As for supporting the shelters, I myself am a business owner who has rules and regulations for employees and customers. If you can't handle them then I don't need to pay you and I don't need your business that bad. Get off your bottom and out from behind the cam and find something more productive to do than be pissy because you got turned down for a pet. Spring is just around the corner, go make friends with a squirrel. The shelter thought of the cats welfare first, so get over.

I work at a humane society and I can tell you that sometimes it isn't the shelter, but the town that won't alow cats to go outside. They have to go by these rules becasue of contracts that they have with the city. Some of these things you complain about are just common sence, look them up if your that stupid.

@beatricebucks WOW. That is VERY naive of you(this is not an insult...you just haven't been exposed to the dark side of HSUS). They do not opperate ANY no kill shelters. Oh and let's not forget that the HSUS has also been on the side of kill shelters numerous times(which I have no beef with. I believe in animal euthansia because my father is a veternarian). Their programs are TALK and not action. It is the difference between protesting starvation and giving food to homeless people.

@gat0rbball You might be right that they don't have shelters, their website says that they have "sanctuaries". To me that implies that they have "no kill" shelter facilities. And even if the HSUS doesn't have shelters but they do have great programs. Look up "End Dog Fighting in Chicago". They go into neighborhoods and find people who do dog fighting and convince them to do agility courses instead. They also investigate cruelty cases, since most law enforcement won't.

I worked for a shelter for two years. I had to have that conversation with people just like you. Shelters have strict rules because the workers & volunteers are invested in the animals. Being in a shelter animals are exposed to URI. So if they are sent home to a house filled with smoke, they get sick. If they are let outside, they can catch something like FIV from other cats, or being attacked by an animal. You might mean well, but this is how we protect our animals. Pls take your vid down

@jesscook28 I am saying that the HSUS IS an animal rights organization. They are NOT an animal welfare organization like they try to show themself off as. I miss typed on the post. The organization is a joke. They have NO shelter. They suck.
