As much as I love this scene, and the cast in "Jackie Brown" the film is a red-headed stepchild in the Elmore Leonard oeuvre, due mostly to Tarantino's need to make himself, as filmmaker, more important than the story. You want to see great Elmore Leonard adapted to film, watch Steven Soderbergh's Out of Sight (1998). That movie rocks.
