For 53 years, NYF's International Advertising Awards® has honored the World's Best Advertising in all media from over 70 countries around the world. The festival has the largest and most international jury of all Advertising Festivals.
For the first time NYF also awards the most successful agency amongst those that are not affiliated with any agency networks and have less than 75 employees, the so called Boutique Agencies.
mortierbrigade, independent agency in Brussels Belgium, employing 25 people, is the first winner of this prestigious award.
With campaigns like the Eternal Moonwalk, Tune your Life and Music for Life for Studio Brussels, the Pop Up Store for Levi's, and Canvas recommended by Canvas, the agency has confirmed its status as 'one of the most innovative agencies in the world' dixit French magazine 'Strategies'.
The new school agency already won a Titanium and 20 other Lions at the Cannes Awards over the last years and two Grand Prix's at the Eurobest Awards in Amsterdam last November.
The award is not only a recognition for mortierbrigade, but for Belgian Advertising in general where independent agencies have proven their success in the last few years. After art, fashion and design, it is now clear that advertising is the next big thing to go for in this little country.
