An excellent example of the talent of the band. I'm prejudiced towards the percussionist. I was the proud school band parent for a long time and now just the proud parent. Don and his wife Catherine gave me my first grandchild so now I'm the proud grandparent. Well done NYMDBBD!!!!!

Ken Sepe's chops sound as good as they did when I took trumpet instruction from him in 1969-72! John Brierly was our lead trumpeter in the HS jazz band then. Exciting arrangement of Manteca too.

FYI, that's John Brierly on lead trumpet on these clips putting that beautiful sizzling edge on the band. Both he and Kenny were the two best trumpet players the band has had in 12 years!
