F1-X DUBAI

The world of Formula One is coming to Dubai, are you ready? The launch event for F1-X theme park was held at Dubai Autodrome as part of the launch of Grand Racing, an event with GP2 events and Speedcar, a version of Nascar with former F1 drivers as stars of the show and followers such as Michael Schumacher who attended to cheer on the day. A human bridge was formed by 150 men who held up the racing karts featuring local driving stars. . The event was also attended by F1 drivers -- Jean Alesi, Johnny Herbert, Stefan Johansson, Ukyo Katayama and Gianni Morbidelli.

F1X will allow you to eXplore and eXperience the world of Formula One like never before. From eXtreme thrills to eXhibits, from shows and ceremonies to interactive eXpos, guests can decide whether to participate or spectate.

Union Properties signed an exclusive contract for F1-X globally with Bernie Ecclestone in November 2006. Opening at Motorcity, adjacent to Dubai Autodrome in the heart of Dubailand, the 70 acre development of F1-X will feature Formula One cars, Formula One drivers, Formula One teams, rollercoasters, rides, museum type installations, simulators, karts and other driving experiences, entertainment, interactive, everything in the world of F1 for kids and adults alike.
