Sorry for the backing track being quiet. I just got my camera for christmas and I'm still learning effective camera placement for recording.

This is me playing Annihilator's Clown Parade which is the opening track off the 2007 album "Metal". I learned it by ear, sorry for any mistakes present...

  • Hey what is the tuning for this song. Sounds like it's in D.

  • @ChainsawVsGod Yes it is. Drop D tuning to be exact anyway...

  • Do you think you can record yourself playing this with the camera more zoomed in on your fingering? I really want to learn this song and I can't find any tabs.

  • @EdisPro1337 I'll see what I can do man. Been real busy with college stuff lately. But if I can get the time, I'll re-record it for you and message you when I get it up. :)

  • anybody have any reccomendations fo bands which play songs like this, love my metal but cant really stand the singing of some bands, trivium/slayer/slipknot etc

  • If you are looking for cleaner vocals, probably the best I can recommend is later Defiance, Heathen, Armored Saint, Control Denied, Savatage, and maybe Testament.

  • Sick.

  • Is the part at 1:30 all on the 'E' string? Also, since you don't have much time, can you tab me the part at 2:40? Doesn't have to be actual tabs, just which frets you play. Like 001000100. I can find out the rest, I just want to know how many of each I do, I'm really bad at learning off of live playing.

  • I would definitely love to tab it out and post it, but I'm pretty bad with tabbing stuff, it just takes me way too long and it just never comes out well. :(

Have you tried looking at Jeff Waters' fixed angle demonstration here on youtube? It helped me a lot.

  • hey man if its not much to ask could you tab it and send it to ultimate guitar?
