I'd never heard of Jeff Buckley until I googled "Hallelujah" and Jeff returned lots of hits.

I listened. I was captivated. His voice is compelling, evocative. His talent with the guitar blended with the way he covers this song is as close to something that I can only call 'divine' as I've ever heard.

His music continues to answer the call of millions of spirits. After reading his bio, I feel there was clearly a reason for his untimely death: US.

What a loss... and superfrenchfrys, no it wasn't. I believe it was an accidental drowning. The first time I heard him sing this song, I didn't even know who he was, let alone that he had passed. I would have given almost anything to see him in concert! He was an amazing musician and singer, he put sooo much heart and soul into his music. RIP, Jeff.
