WHY did B movies in the 30's and 40's have more of a plot than movies today? The dialogue was a HELL of a LOT better, cliched or not. I am SO tired of actors today relying on idiot pratfalls, like a shot in the groin (hello Adam Sandler) with a baseball, hockey puck, etc.....I don't think even in the silent era they used the custard pie in the face gag as much!
