Havana Cuba - City Sights and Architecture

Beginning at the historic city center there is an overview of the city and odd mixture of spanish colonial and russian contemporary. Also you see the rustic quality of an untouched, once wild and corrupt gambling town. Now lived humble, quiet, and void of 20th century bussle. Havana is a quiet and beautiful experience from the past.

I went to Cuba Dec of 2011. I LOVE THE PLACE! People there live in a simple life. People are very friendly. I told my co workers and friends, to visit Cuba someday. And i show them my pictures, and my video. And some of them are planning to visit Cuba this year.

@jagoda520 So you rather be told what to do and when. Well thats your choice, i invite you to go live un Cuba. Perfection does not exist. But the system has been proven not to work, and is far more imperfect than perfect. Capitalism does work, even tho i understand it has its problems.

@jagoda520 My brother i live here in USA, miami, FL. Be happy to pay high taxes, and insurance. Through history people have fought for freedom, and theres a reason to it. You were born here and i understand your point, i also know you dont know how that system works, and that it actually does not work. Its true you dont pay, however there are no vaccines or even most common things in a hospital. Your teachers will be 16 years old since there are not enough. And your own place will be falling.

How are you going to pay for school ,food,hospital,car ,rental or your own place ? If you are not strong enough ,don't even dream about coming to the USA ! In here you have to pay for absolutley everything by yourself ,no goverment help ! And if you can not handle it ,you will be on the street very quickly ,and this is the freedom in here my friend ! I wish you would be able to come here and taste the freedom ,but without friends nor family help ! Good luck my friend !!!! Be free !!!

For your information I had lived in communist country for 27 years ,and another 25 in capitalistic ,so I know what both systems are and how they work ! Belive me ,there is no such a thing like perfection.Capitalistic system has it's ups,but also a lot of downs !!! Freedom in the USA doesn't mean that you can do whatewer you want ,only it lives you the choice of what do you want to do with your life .

@Iraqisocialist I have at no point defended the "infallibility" of the American system, and I know it has it faults, in fact, I've grown convinced that it doesn't matter where you choose to live, as long as you choose the place where you can raise your children in the knowledge they will be able to prosper... as my parents did. I am completely prepared to move on somewhere else.. for I am not bound to any land.. I was born alone, and so I will die alone... I have two feet to move somewhere else

@Iraqisocialist SHAME on the government that, having given it my young age, said goodbye to my family by branding us as TRAITORS for the simple fact we had decided to move to the U.S. I am a full-blooded Cuban, and my heritage is strong, my grandparents and grear-grandparents, et cetera, have been part of the land and grown roots.. so why must we be treated this way when even my parents had, before our landmark trip, given their all for their country throuch actions and not through words???

Haiti, Jamaica, Dominican republic and all the other countries in the region are "free" and capitalistic yet they do not come close to Cuba in living standards, health care, education and more. Do they want Cuba to be like the other countries where people sleep on streets and on newspapers? Millions of Americans are homeless and this is suppose to be the best country in the world. lol get real.
