Here we see Steve Jobs introducing the 17" & 12" PowerBooks. The 17" was the very first laptop ever with a 17" screen. Also shown is the first ever Airport Extreme router with 802.11g speeds, which was also an industry first.

  • @KevinTheAppleGuy Well I have a $1,500 computer and i run Linux, windows, and Hackintosh on and macs are just for retards.

  • They still work well today!!!!

  • @TheHorrorTastic no..its for people who can afford a nice computer.

  • Wow! The 17 inch costed $3299!!! Lol i got a 17 inch PowerBook g4 exact model he was presenting off Craigslist for $200. xD

  • Gah, I miss him. R.I.P. Steve 

  • @5k4k1dhtp I own a Dell Studio 15 from 2009. The hinges holding the screen to the base are cracked and loose. I really want a Macbook Pro, mainly for build quality alone. If there are cheaper alternatives that are fast, then I would purchase one of those.

  • REVOLUTIONARY!

  • My first Mac was a g4 PowerBook I bought in early '05. It still runs.

  • RIP Steve Jobs
