Kenya - Mau Mau Uprising

Opposition against British colonial rule in Kenya culminated in the Mau Mau uprising, which began in 1952. The political changes that took place after independence in 1963 had important consequences for Asians living there.

British Propaganda at its best....but very interesting. where do you find these propaganda videos now days? Reason behind the Mau Mau uprising is 1948, 1,250,000 Kikuyu were restricted to 2000 square miles (5,200 km²), while 30,000 British settlers occupied 12,000 square miles (31,000 km²). The most desirable agricultural land was almost entirely in the hands of European settlers.

the british occupied more land because it was europeans that introduced agricultural farming..in place of subsitance farming...so obviously,...the demands of western civilization require more. Rhodesia was a perfect example of a modern western self sustaining prosperous nation..... not so much anymore.
