@buukyak MSP is DELTA's highest yielding and second most profitable hub (after ATL). for sure they will not cut the international routes...

At first I liked Delta, but now I really miss Northwest. I read somewhere in the paper that out of all of the industries there are Airlines ranked the lowest, and out of all of the airlines Delta ranked the lowest. The merger might have created the "biggest" airline in the world, but now Delta is buying off older former NWA employees thus trying to get rid of any trace NWA left after the merger.

Don't worry about it man. St. Paul will stay the same. Delta will still use it as one of the major hubs.

Everyone is acting like North West is totally gone. Sure the name is gone. But i think that the concept of MERGER dosent get into peoples brains verry well. Although delta is still the call sign for the flights. North west is the one running the show.

What's the word on Minneapolis keeping its international routes. I heard ATL is taking our NRT routes from us. If we lose any international traffic, MSP will probably slip into obscurity and all that money the Airports Commission put into expanding it will be a waste. I have a feeling Delta is going to fuck MSP over big time.

I live in Minneapolis, so a red tail in the sky is as common as a car on the road. The next year will have many surprises with this great merger. GO DELTA!!!
