@mtbisgood . it wernt his boss, that was me with the cam, we work on them during the week and he asked to have a climb over the weekend, there was four ov us up there at the time as she is a big old beech tree, but i take your point, i was just thrown a tatty old rope and a harness and told to get on with it
@sirhc141 bad move. sorry to hear about the boy anyway! poor bloke. i have a mate i used to work with who took his flipline off when spiking to get past a big limb and fell about 30ft... thankfull eh was alright but it just shows how dangerous and stupid it is to unclip.
@HxXFromFirstToLastXx He became unattached from his rope some how and fell thruogh the tree almost severing his right arm off on a broken end ov a limb before landing on his back on a concrete.
@drkongaroo , ive been climbing them big plants for eleven years now and any one who dont get scared up a tree should not be climbing as this can lead to mistakes ,and as a freind ov mine found out at the age ov twenty, he got a way with his life but will never walk again,..Thanks for your honstey!
