Had to take a break on the uploads because of the killer summer we are having here. The heat from the computer has been too much for my window AC. It was either have the computer off most the time or throw the dogs outside. You know who wins that one. I think these are Black-eyed Susans - Rudbeckia hirta at 0:29. The first with a close-up is different from all the rest with brown on the petals, I don't know why. At 1:20 is a butterfly that I followed around for about 10 minutes before it let me get a shot. At 1:56 is a spider that disguises itself as a flower bud complete with stamens. If that's Queen Anne's Lace - Daucus Carota at 2:59, it's a carrot that was imported by European settlers. Like I said before, the close-ups make me hungry. A big fat red wasp at 3:42. From what I've seen, wasps rule the airways. Wild Blackberry - Rubus fruticosus at 3:56 are very edible. Cicada shell at 4:20 is what they leave after emerging from the ground. These big green ones come out every year unlike the smaller black and orange ones. When the heat hasn't killed everything these are the sound of summer around here. Haven't found out what the yellow ones at 4:55 are yet. Enjoy, thanks for watching.
